"Getting to Know You..."
In addition to mainstream productions, BCT holds a monthly 'Club Night' which is usually held on the first Thursday of every month (see below). These are informal, social gatherings where we meet to discuss different aspects of the theatre; get to know new members and try to learn new skills. Acting/directing workshops, makeup, set and lighting design, new play readings, improvisation techniques, theatre sports, props making and tap dancing are just a few of the topics that have been covered! Club Nights are held at 7:30pm in town, and everyone is welcome to attend. Just send us an email at bct@sala.net to confirm your attendence, and will give you the details of where we'll be meeting and what we'll be doing!
We are always looking for new ideas for Club Night events and new people to help organize activities. If you have an idea for a Club Night, or would like to help organize one, please email us asap! We look forward to hearing your ideas. |

BCT CLUB NIGHTS 2007
January 11 hosted by Severin Herbert, at this time plans are being made for a session on "How to Audition" - Please note this club night only is on the 2nd Thursday of the month.
February 1 - Annual General Meeting & BCT Bobs Awards!
March 1 Brecht and the Circus. Drama teacher, Charlotte Daykin, will give a challenging & entertaining workshop on Brechtian Techniques using the setting of the circus. See you there!
April 5 Guesstures! A hilarious acting game similar to charades. See pictures here.
