The Little Puppet Theatre

The Little Puppet Theatre Group is the only English language puppet theatre based in Thailand.  Like the BCT they are a group of enthusiastic volunteers who put on regular performances.  Every feature of the puppet theatre is individually crafted, from the puppets and backdrops, to the scripts.  Their puppetry style follows European puppetry traditions and incorporates elements from Asia.  They have performed at the Neilson Hays Library, the British Club, and at schools and fairs.  Many of the shows blend puppetry with acting and use conventional theatre lighting and sound effects.  They welcome volunteers, with or without experience, to join them as puppeteers, actors, backstage helpers or creative types for "brainstorming".  Call Mariana Atkins on 02-271-4863 or email her at Mariana atkins mariana@inet.co.th for further information.
